What great weather we have been having.

We tried a new spelling activity today. We were divided into groups of 3 or 4, then tossed a paper ball while spelling each word on our list. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. Spelling test #26 on Friday!

March Madness Week!

It is going to be an exciting week with a tremendous amount of learning to be done.

The students will be going to Miss Matthias' room for units this week, and her class will me coming to our room for the Light Unit in Science.

Thankfully, it appears that the weather will we warming up for the early part of this week! The winter has held on for too long.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, 3/17/09, is Hat Day for school and St. Patrick's Day.

Beach Day is Monday, 3/16/09. Please remember to dress appropriately for the weather, having all beach attire under your other clothes.

We are having science and spelling tests today, plus a read-in for those who behavior during the day earns them the opportunity to go.

Conferences went well the last two Thursday's. Thank you to everyone that came in.

It is early dismissal today, Tuesday, 3/10/09. Students are dismissed at 11:00 AM.

Next week is March Madness Week with a fun theme day each day.

It is finally starting to warm up, which is great!  We are at the Library right now playing Scrabble and checking out books.

We are have a reading test tomorrow so study your notes.  Spelling test on Friday!
